Thank you so much for visiting my website!
A little about me... My official training is in Biopsychology in which I earned B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees (go Georgia Bulldogs!) Following post-doctoral fellowships at Yale University School of Medicine and Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, I accepted an Officer's commission to the U.S. Navy and earned my Wings of Gold as a Navy Aerospace Experimental Psychologist. I served 7 wonderful years on active duty and obtained the rank of Lieutenant Commander. With the support of my incredible husband Henry, we realized that my transition from the Navy was a ripe opportunity for me to focus on photography for which I had always had an interest but never the time to pursue. I became absorbed in reading, studying, taking courses, and snapping snapping snapping anything and everything to improve my photographic skills. My family has been wonderful and (hardly ever) complains that my camera is constantly at the ready! I am currently employed as a photo quality editor at a leading stock photography agency and I have work on display at Gallery Zarragossa in downtown Pensacola. I love to shoot a variety of subjects from still life to nature to portraiture. I hope you enjoy my photos! Cheryl Casey |
